LAB Open, the open access publishing platform of LAB University of Applied Sciences, was launched 9th of March 2020.
This accessibility statement applies to www.labopen.fi and was prepared on 17 June 2020. The English version was added 12 November 2021. Morgan Digital, as the technical service provider, is responsible for and has evaluated the accessibility of the layout, user interface and programming of LAB Open. Accessibility of the content is based on self-evaluation.
The layout, user interface and programming of LAB Open were executed according to the web content accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility of the contents is ensured by using defined headings and providing text alternatives (‘alt text’) for non-text content. Alt text is provided for all images, infographics and figures that can’t be analyzed with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
